The Embedded Engineer (Computer Engineering) Internship is an opportunity to learn and develop your computer engineering skills by working with cutting-edge embedded systems, contributing to projects that integrate advanced computing technologies with real-world applications. Our internship is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university and who will be continuing their studies in the fall.

The typical base pay range for this position is USD $30.00 - $52.50 per hour. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only.

Job Duties

  • Assist in the design and development of embedded systems for IoT applications
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and test firmware and hardware; participate in coding, debugging, and documentation of embedded software
  • Contribute to the integration of AI algorithms into embedded systems
  • Support the team in research and development of new technologies and solutions

Qualifications

  • Candidates should be seeking a Bachelors or Advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Solid foundation in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and electronics
  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence and its applications in embedded systems.
  • Able to work independently at times and dedicate a minimum of 20 hours/week
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your employment and criminal history
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
