Synaptics is looking for a Sr. Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic and growing Sales organization. You will be responsible for driving our sales efforts with major OEMs. The primary focus will be on supporting key Bay Area accounts and additional account prospecting with Distribution. This position reports to the VP, Sales, Americas.

The typical base pay range for this position is USD $120,000 - $189,200 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity, and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Job Duties

  • Formulate and execute a robust sales strategy to achieve or surpass sales targets for assigned accounts
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers within assigned account base
  • Collaborate closely with peer ODM sales, engineering and marketing teams to influence the development and launch of new products and services tailored to our clients' needs
  • Efficiently coordinate cross-business unit projects, ensuring seamless execution
  • Predict sales trends and maintain a well-organized sales pipeline
  • Regularly track, analyze, and report on sales performance, presenting findings to senior management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in semiconductor sales with a focus on wireless and embedded processors
  • Track record of regularly meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas
  • Creative thinker and proven problem solver
  • Demonstrated experience building a strategy and executing well
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Travel up to 50% required
