Overview
Synaptics is looking for a Sr. Facilities Lead to join our dynamic and growing organization. You will be responsible for supporting all the GWR activities at Synaptics India, including infrastructure maintenance and coordinating with vendors. The individual will maintain a seamless and secure working environment while also optimizing space allocation and sustainability initiatives and ensuring that facilities are safe, compliant, and conducive. This position reports to the Manager, Facilities.
Responsibilities & Competencies
Job Duties
- Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities, including buildings in coordination with landlord, equipment, and grounds
- Ownership of tickets assigned – identify and resolve issues; analyze root cause and resolve tickets in appropriate turnaround time
- Collaborate with external service providers, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate scheduled AMC visits, repairs, maintenance, and renovations
- Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and make recommendations for facility improvements
- Ensure compliance with organizational and governmental safety standards and monitor and assess all facility equipment and installations are in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of facility operations, maintenance activities, and safety compliance
- Track and maintain the inventory of all assets
- Manage day-to-day employee transport services and guest relations.
- Manage import and export activities related to the business unit as required
- Take responsibility for cafeteria operations, safety norms, and waste management
- Maintain and update space management activities per corporate guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Manage access control systems and badge management
- Plan and manage procurement activities in line with corporate guidelines, and prepare POs and process invoices for on time submission

Qualifications (Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Trade Certification or state license in Electrical or Mechanical (HVAC), added advantage
- 5+ years facility management experience
- Knowledge of critical facilities operations, mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Minimal travel required
