Overview

Synaptics is looking for smart and talented Software Engineer to join our System coex development team in India. In this role, you will be a part of the team responsible for the design, development and debug of multi radio coexistence algorithms. You will also work closely with PHY/MAC/BT system engineers. This role reports to the Director, Development Engineering.

Responsibilities & Competencies

Job Duties

• Design and Development Coex Algorithms including BT/WiFi/Thread for the SYN Combo Chips and IoT Market Requirements 
• BT/BLE Controller / Host including Various Profiles 
• WiFi STA/AP Specification 

Competencies

• Comfortable with both WiFi and BT sniffer for packet capture and debugging 
• Software engineering skills including design, programming (using C) and low level assembly code debugging 
• Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results; proactively ensures work is accurate  
• Proactive, self-starter, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and work ethic; unafraid to ask questions and explore new ideas
• Resourceful and able to solve problems through practical use of technology 
• Excellent communication and coordination skills while working in multi-site environment 
• Strong team player with the ability to work within a diverse team 

Qualifications (Requirements)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent 
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience   
• Experience on and understanding of BT/WiFi Coex Algorithm Development 
• Hands-on experience in WiFi MAC low-level development 
• Hands on experience on the validation of BT/WiFi throughput issues 
• No travel required
