Overview 

Synaptics is looking for a Sr. Finance System Reporting Manager to join our dynamic and growing organization. The Finance System Reporting Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and management of financial reporting systems to support the organization’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting needs. This role requires a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, coupled with expertise in financial systems such as Hyperion, Tableau or Oracle ERP systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of financial data reporting and analysis across the organization. This position reports to the Senior Director FP&A. 

The typical base pay range for this position is USD $109,000 - $171,600 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity, and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. 

Responsibilities & Competencies 

Job Duties

• Lead the administration and maintenance of financial reporting systems, ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with the organization’s reporting needs
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement system enhancements and troubleshoot system-related issues
• Manage data integrations between financial systems and ensure the integrity of financial data
• Develop, maintain, and distribute financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support decision-making across the organization
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting

Qualifications (Requirements)

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in financial reporting, financial systems management, or a related role
• Strong hands-on experience managing financial reporting systems such as Hyperion, Oracle, or similar ERP/reporting systems
• Proficient with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
• Track record of analyzing issues and solving problems
• Strong project management skills
• No travel required
