Overview 

Synaptics is looking for a Sr. Global Benefits Manager to join our dynamic and growing organization. This role designs, implements, and manages comprehensive global benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and time-off policies. It requires a strategic leader capable of enhancing employee well-being, optimizing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance across diverse regions. The ideal candidate can establish a clear vision for benefits programs while remaining hands-on, managing intricate details and addressing complex issues to ensure successful execution. This position reports to the Director, Compensation & HRIS. 

The typical base pay range for this position is USD $132,000 - $207,900 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity, and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. 

Responsibilities & Competencies 

Job Duties

  • Advise and inform on the state of benefits worldwide, demonstrating an understanding of market dynamics, and industry trends 
  • Use competitive market data to develop and implement strategic plans that align with business priorities 
  • Assess and optimize broker partnerships globally 
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and well-being 
  • Ensure compliance with regional laws and regulations 
  • Oversee global renewal, open enrollment processes and benefits communications 
  • Design and manage global time-off policies, including PTO, leave of absence, and holiday schedules 
  • Ensure benefits are communicated in a meaningful and relevant manner that engages and educates employees and their family helping them understand how to efficiently use their benefits and the value they provide 
  • Partner with cross functional teams and internal HR teams to establish compliant and efficient business process to deliver a world class employee experience 
  • Assist in preparation of worldwide annual budgets and monitor benefit-related expenses to ensure adherence to budget

Qualifications (Requirements) 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or related field or equivalent 
  • 12+ years of experience focused on domestic and international benefits design and management 
  • Ability to develop a global long-term benefits strategy that is aligned with the critical priorities of the business 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong collaborative relationships/partnerships within the company and with external vendor partners 
  • Track record of managing accurate employee benefits data in HR systems, ensuring integrity, privacy, and adherence to data protection policies 
  • Must be flexible in order to provide employee support in various time zones  
  • Minimal travel up to 5%
