Overview 
Synaptics is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic and growing organization. You will be responsible for driving our sales efforts on Tier 2 mass markets that mainly focus on potential growth from new customers and new products introduction. This position reports to the Director, Sales. 

 

Responsibilities & Competencies 
Job Duties 
  • Formulate and execute a sales strategy to achieve or surpass sales targets for assigned accounts 
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with decision-makers within assigned accounts 
  • Collaborate closely with peer OEM/ODM sales, engineering and marketing teams to influence the development of new products and services tailored to our clients' needs 
  • Efficiently coordinate multinational and cross-business unit projects, ensuring seamless execution 
  • Predict sales trends and maintain a well-organized sales pipeline 
  • Regularly track, analyze, and report on sales performance to management

  • Solid organizational skills with ability to effectively plan, and prioritize
  • Able to solve problems that require a solid understanding of mass markets 
 
Qualifications (Requirements) 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field or equivalent 
  • 5 years of experience in semiconductor sales with a focus on consumer markets 
  • Track record of regularly meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas 
  • Creative thinker and proven problem solver 
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is a strong advantage. 
  • Travel up to 50% required
