Overview  
The EEPD Program and Product Management Internship is an opportunity to learn and help solve some of the challenges in planning and managing a complex product portfolio of IoT processors and SW projects across a global engineering organization. You will be working directly with Sr Director of Strategy and Business Development and apply your skills and creativity to assist with reporting, tracking, analysis, and visualization of data from different sources to help enable key product and business decisions. Our internship is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university and who will be continuing their studies in the fall. 
  
The typical base pay range for this position is USD $32.00 - $52.50 per hour. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only. 

  

 
Responsibilities & Competencies 
Job Duties 
  • Help the Program and Product management teams in creating and automating templates for workflow and tracking, and assist with data collection and analysis 
  • Help build modular templates with different profiles, to showcase Synaptics technology based on intended target audiences - internal teams and customers 
  • You will have the opportunity to learn about different aspects of program and product management and go-to-market strategy in the technology sector and understand what it takes to run a complex product business

Qualifications (Requirements) 
  • Candidates should be seeking a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word or equivalents 
  • knowledge of one or more: collaboration and bug tracking systems such as JIRA and Confluence, and visualization tools such as Tableau preferred 
  • Able to work independently at times and dedicate a minimum of 20 hours/week 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction 
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your employment and criminal history 
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
